2012/2013

One Season Wonder.

By Stuart McLaren

What a way to bounce back! After the disappointment of relegation last season, Queens, as the only full time side in the 2nd Division, stormed back into the First Division with a record breaking season which seen us achieve a "Double" for the first time ever as not only did we set a new record points tally, but we also won the Challenge Cup for the 2nd time. And in Nicky Clark, we had the equal top Queens goalscorer for a single season. Almost worth getting relegated for!

2012/2013 - Double Success

Alan Johnston and Sandy Clark were to be our management team for only one season, but what a season that was! A records points tally, a 2nd Challenge Cup win, Nicky Clark scoring 41 goals in a single season, Rangers and Hibs beaten, we could hardly have asked for more.

Despite Johnston's decision to move on to Kilmarnock at the end of the season, most of the Bookie's are making us amoung the favourites for the 1st Division next season under new manager Jim McIntyre, and our new artificial turf should suit our style of play perfectedly.

Site wise, for the 3rd year running, I cannot recall making any major changes.
