Converted to a rather reluctant right back by John Connolly when he couldn't establish himself in the centre of midfield, and has never looked back. Does well enough defensively, but excels in the extra space he finds from deeper to start a lot of Queens forward motion. A bit of a surprise that we've managed to hang onto him really.

My Opinion August, 2002

I don't usually notice opponents, but I do remember Eric having an excellent game against us as Clydebank stuffed us 3-0 last season. So far it looks like he has brought that form to Palmerston with him, playing either right side or central midfield. In his first competitive match scored a goal of the season contender, having looked impressive in pre season.
