August 2004
Queens seem to keep trying to get rid of him, but he always
seems to bounce back. Now a coach at the club, seems to have
re established himself for the start of this season, despite
the presence of Scotland U21 keeper Colin Samson, on loan
from Kilmarnock. Was certainly missed during a long injury
spell last season, and I think it's when he's out of the team
that you realize just how good he is.
My Opinion August 2002
After a frustrating first season when
he hardly made an appearance, he took advantage of Jamie Campbell's
early season injury and form loss to establish himself as
the automatic first choice keeper, and his penalty save against
Hamilton was the one that secured us promotion. However, is
prone to injury, and his latest one has prompted John Connolly
to go out and buy Andy Goram, so it's back to the bench by
the looks of things, although if Goram doesn't work out, we
know we've got a very able deputy.
My Opinion June 2001
The experienced ex Rangers keeper seems to be quite content
to sit on Queen's bench, which suits us fine as he is a better
quality reserve keeper than a Second Division club can expect
to have. Will not let us down if required.
